Gabriel Byrne (Victor Dashkov) talks a bit about Vampire Academy on a recent interview he did on The Michael Des Barres Show. (December 5)

Interviewer: I know that you've just done a major film franchise called 'Vampire Academy' in which you play, you know, the leader of these vampires. You just shot this in London, how was it to work with all of those beautiful girls?
Gabriel Byrne: Well, you know, I've never done a Vampire picture before and I play a vampire, who, his name is Prince Dashkov. He's the head Vampire and he has all these vampir-ettes working for him. It was lovely. Wonderful, wonderful cast of young girls... 19, 20..
Interviewer: I saw the trailer and they were so talented.
Gabriel Byrne: So good.
Interviewer: There was a couple of girls in there who were just nailing it. Ironic humor.
